2-Course Aim :-
Being able to create product designs that are easy to use is becoming critically important as technology is quickly becoming a necessary part of our everyday activities. For example, everyday we interact with web sites, alarm clocks, cellular phones and music players to just mention just a few interfaces. Our interaction with these common interfaces is continuously changing as new user or employer requirements arise.
How can technology interface with humans in ways that facilitate usability? Insight into this question is provided through multidisciplinary investigations (Art & Design, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology, etc.) into the complex interactions between humans and emerging interfaces. This investigatory process and collaboration is captured within the field of Human-Computer Interaction and will be the focus of this class.
