3- Intended Learning Outcome :-

a- Knowledge and Understanding :-

a1- Understand theories, fundamentals, and current state-of-the-art in information technology domain and their related domains.

a2- Understanding of discrete event simulation and its many applications.

a3- Understand Simulation Techniques, Markov chains, Queuing theory, Network traffic modeling, Quality of Service, Traffic engineering and MPLS Failure protection, mesh restoration and reliability analysis.

a4- now how the stages of projects are managed within differing methodologies, and the implications for adherence to quality assurance standards.

a5- Explain the operation of well-known algorithms.

a6- Know the nature of the development change within the industry, and the impact that this has on the management and implementation of IT Systems.

a7- Use analytic and/or simulation methods to evaluate the performance of computer systems and computer networks.

b2- Identify the causes of poor performance (losses and delays) in the Internet.

b3- Quantify the performance of simple network systems by developing appropriate analytical models.

b4- Critique emerging technologies used by Internet Service Providers for offering Quality of Service (QoS) to Internet traffic.
