For students undertaking this course, the aims are to :-

1. Introduce special topics of current trends in information systems and information technology.
2. Introducing students to data warehousing concepts and applications.
3. Introducing dimensional modeling and how to model data warehouses using those models.
4. Getting students familiar with integrating data warehousing concepts in different applications.
