3- Intended Learning Outcome :-

a- Knowledge and Understanding :-

Students who complete the course will have the ability to :-

a1- explain at high levels concepts from advanced linear algebra and multi-variable calculus.

a2- compute eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices, and solve first and second order ordinary differential equations.

a3- Compute partial derivatives and multiple integrals of multivariate functions.

a4- implement basic operations in vector calculus and evaluate line and surface integrals of vector fields.

a5- apply mathematical and computational methods to a range of application problems involving advanced linear algebra, ordinary differential equations and multi-variable calculus.

b. Intellectual Skills :-

Students who complete the course will have the ability to :-

b1- Solve simple differential equations of first and second order.

b2- perform basic operations of matrix algebra and apply them to solve system of linear equations.

b3- discuss the basic concepts of vector spaces, linear transformations and inner product spaces with geometric interpretation.

b4- apply the techniques of linear algebra to problems in statistics and applied mathematics.
