This course aims at introducing students to the linear algebra. Topics include: matrices, linear equations, determinants, characteristic polynomials, and eigenvalues; QR factorization; vector spaces and linear transformations; inner products; Hermitian, orthogonal, and unitary matrices; bilinear forms; elementary divisors and Jordan normal forms.
